Gathering Theme for the Year: “A CARING COMMUNITY”
PW Program Calendar 2017-2018


JANUARY 7, 2018 (Sunday) WINTER GATHERING – EPIPHANY TEA – “Nurturing the Caring Community”
2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Annual Beginning to the new year with a Taizé worship experience of music, chanting,
and readings in the candle-lit sanctuary of Stone Church. Preceded by a lovely tea.
March 17, 2018( Saturday) Spiritual Nurture Retreat – “Transitions in our Caring Community”
9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Carolyn Foster author, coach, counselor, & professor will guide us to promote
more authentic and joyful lives using many tools- $35.00 includes lunch & a day at Woodhaven, the Methodist Retreat Center.
May 19, 2018 (Saturday) ANNUAL GATHERING—“ Hope in our Caring Community”
2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Short business meeting. Talented Nyna Dolby, flower arranger for Filoli in Woodside,
will inspire you with her demonstrations. Plus a teacup garden recycling activity that is
fun. Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church
At San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo cost $50.00 or 800-447-8820
PWP Coordinating Team meetings will be held in homes 10:00 AM to 12 noon on Jan. 22 (Rosaleen’s) and April 16 (Rika’s).
PWP Planning Retreat: June 10:00 – 3:00 PM Place: Stone Church Library – All are invited, watch for info in 2018
Dates for articles for the Linkage are the same dates as the PWP Coordinating Team meetings, plus November 12, 2017.
