The Rev. Dr. Rebecca Young came from the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Office in Louisville as part of our annual Mission Fair.  She talked about PDA's response to the 2005 Tsunami in Central Asia and the Hurricanes in the US Gulf Coast. 

She commended our churches for their remarkable support of PDA last year during a year that tested

PDA's ability to respond.

The Rev. Dr. John WIlliams of Austin College, Austin Texas, and two of his students attended our meeting to lead worship and present a talk on involving young adults in relavent church life, faith life and worship.

Presbytery Peace and Social Justice Advocate Geoff Browning, presented a certificate from the denomination's Peacemaking Office to Pastor Tom Coop of Santa Teresa Hills Presbyterian Church for their church committment to Peacemaking as STHPC members look on.

Krista Wuertz (left) and Alison Harrington (right) were examined by members of Presbytery as Krista became a Candidate for Ministry and Alison became approved for ordination as the new Associate Pastor at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Palo Alto.
