Choir Director (part time)

Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church :

Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church (MHPC) is seeking a Director for our adult Celebration Choir who possesses a dynamic, growing and personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Music is a vital part of our corporate worship life at MHPC, and plays a key role in helping us draw near to God as we gather together as God's people. We see music as a gift of God, and look for ways to honor Him through our musical offerings. God has also used music as a way to reach out missionally to our community, drawing people to Himself through our concerts, special programs, and other music opportunities. Candidates for this position should demonstrate experienced effectiveness in leading a choir in a blended worship format; should be innovative, enthusiastic, and enjoy working in a team staff environment. Responsibilities include leading of worship for our “blended” service on Sunday mornings, and fostering a good working relationship with the worship leader for our “contemporary” service. An application and job description can be found posted on our website: www.mhpc.org
