EHCLifebuilders is another organization that, along with InnVision above, assists homeless people in getting back to a "housed" life permanently, with job, health and other assistance. You may have read recently about EHC needing to cut 125 shelter beds at their Bocardo Reception Center shelter in San Jose and then how two generous individuals stepped forward to fund this cut in services saving these beds for homeless people during the winter months. This amazing generocity saved hundreds of people from spending cold nights in their car, or worse, outside in various hiding places people find to sleep safely out of the winter weather.

But more help is needed for mats, blankets and sheets for this main shelter and also the two other shelters held at National Guard Armories in both Sunnyvale and Gilroy.

Besides donations of funds, blankets, sheets, towels, and toiletries, helpful church folk can also assist EHC by volunteering to serve hot meals at these shelters.
