The artwork of Lynden Keith Johnson of Stone Church has graced Stone’s bulletins and Sanctuary walls for 15 years.

Lynden Keith Johnson
Lynden is an internationally-exhibited artist, with his hand in a variety of mediums: watercolor, acrylics, collage, drawings, tapestry, fabric, even ceramics and photography. He even began a textile business in Portugal two years before the 1974 revolution in that country, where he learned that “freedom should not be at another’s expense.” His love for the Iberian Peninsula is seen in much of his art.
A lifelong Presbyterian, Lyn was searching for a church when he went to a service at Stone 15 years ago. "I joined for the organ music and the choir," he said. ...and a pattern began which continues today with his colorful bulletins frequently used in Stone's services.

Lynden often specializes in a series theme for the bulletins. “I came up with a symbol for Lent, a simplified cross from two crossed fingers with a circle,” he said. Another example is this cover of a labyrinth:
