PC(USA) Responds to Hurricane Dorian

Initially, the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is sending relief in the Bahamas is in the form of a Solidarity Grant. PDA is working with Bahamas Methodist Habitat, ACT Alliance and Church World Service in the Bahamas; and stateside, with Southeastern Presbyteries in the path of Dorian, such as the Presbytery of Charlotte.

PDA is actively soliciting donations for assistance. “Our ability to respond is a reflection of the generosity of the denomination,” says the Rev. Jim Kirk, Associate for National Disaster Response.
