The Presbytery of San Jose, part of the Synod of the
Pacific, is located in northern California and serves 46
congregations located in four counties (Santa Clara,
San Benito, Santa Cruz and Monterey). Our churches
serve over 11,000 members.
The Monarch butterfly, the symbol of the Presbytery, represents transformation, resurrection, and the beauty and creativity of nature. Monterey Peninsula’s Pacific Grove is within our Presbytery and is a favorite spot to see migrating Monarchs. |
